Welcome to the Yoga Co-operative!
We are an open, caring community for yogis of every ability. We aim to create a welcoming, supportive space where everyone feels seen and valued. Our classes are safe, uplifting, and full of positive energy for all to practise.
Yoga offers many benefits beyond improved strength, balance, and flexibility. It also supports mental and emotional health. Regular yoga and meditation can sharpen focus, increase mental clarity, and lower chronic stress and anxiety. The practice balances energy and rest, helping calm busy minds while nurturing inner wellbeing.
The Yoga Co-operative runs a variety of classes, workshops, and trainings for all levels — from beginners learning basic poses to experienced students deepening their practice.
We acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which The Yoga Co-operative gathers, and we pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise the continuing connection of First Nations peoples to Country, waters, skies, and community, and commit to listening, learning and acting to support cultural safety, inclusion and self-determination.
We honour the strength, resilience and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and pledge to embed respectful practice, ongoing partnership and truth-telling in our programs, spaces and relationships.
